Eight site-specific projects, ordered by date. Darkened rooms, long corridors, one very large empty wall and a studio that moved into a gallery for six weeks.

On installing
A room is a
slower medium
A painting can be looked at in four seconds. A room takes four minutes, and that is the whole point. Everything I install is designed to make the visitor walk more slowly than they intended to.
Lighting is part of the work, not a service to it. In Low Light, Long Room the gallery was held at forty lux and each panel carried its own source, so the visitor moves from one pool of colour to the next with darkness in between.
